Troubleshooting: Installation issues on Windows
You can troubleshoot issues that you encounter while you install or uninstall HCL OneTest™ Server.
The installation process is interrupted and re-installation of the software fails
When the installation of HCL OneTest Server is interrupted and you are unable to reinstall the software, you must remove the previous
installation data on your workstation.
About this task
If the installation process is interrupted, you cannot reinstall the software until you remove the previous installation data that was saved when you had installed HCL OneTest Server.
Procedure
To delete the installation directory on your workstation:
HCL OneTest Server does not start post installation
After you complete the installation of HCL OneTest Server in the
GUI mode by using the stand-alone installer, if the server URL is not generated at the end of the
installation process, a message is displayed to check the error logs.
About this task
To resolve the errors, you must check the error logs, fix the issue and reinstall the software.
The error logs that are stored at <install-dir>/Logs display the error about
the Docker. The following error message is displayed in the log
file:

ERROR: for 308fd6fe96a8_onetest_env_1 Cannot start service env: error while creating mount source path '/host_mnt/c/Program Files/HCL/onetest': mkdir /host_mnt/c: file exists
