Publishing test reports

Test reports for tests run on HCL OneTest™ Server or reports from tests run on the desktop clients such as HCL OneTest API, HCL OneTest Performance, or HCL OneTest UI can be viewed from the HCL OneTest Server Results page. The HCL OneTest Server then becomes a single location for hosting the results and reports of all tests run on different desktop clients.

Publishing test reports from the HCL OneTest Server

For tests run from the HCL OneTest Server by using the test assets in a Git repository configured for your project, the test reports are published automatically for tests that run. The links to these reports are displayed in the Results page when you expand the result panel for a test result. You can also view the logs of the tests run in the Reports panel.

The following table lists the different reports with a description of the report.

API Suite	Functional Report	Contains results of a test suite.
AFT Suite	Functional Report Statistics Report Test Log	Contains the results of a functional test. Contains the statistical results of a functional test. Contains details about the actions performed in the test when the test ran.
Compound Test	Mobile and Web UI Report Statistics Report Test Log	Contains the results of a Mobile and Web UI test run as a compound test. Contains the statistical results of a functional test run as a compound test. Contains details about the actions performed in the test when the test ran.
VU Schedule	Statistics Report Test Log	Contains the statistical results of a performance test run as a VU Schedule test. Contains details about the actions performed in the test when the test ran.
Rate Schedule	Statistics Report Test Log	Contains the statistical results of a performance test run as a Rate Schedule test. Contains details about the actions performed in the test when the test ran.

When you run an API Suite on the HCL OneTest Server by using the test assets from the HCL OneTest API project and to enable access to the API Suite test reports from the HCL OneTest Server Results page, you must have completed the following tasks:

You must have installed HCL Quality Server on a separate system than the one on which you have installed the HCL OneTest Server. This could be your existing installation of HCL Quality Server.
You must have set up a Results Database for your HCL OneTest API project.

Publishing results from HCL OneTest Performance

You can run tests in the HCL OneTest Performance desktop client and enable HCL OneTest Performance to publish the test results to HCL OneTest Server. For more information, see Publishing test results to the server.

Publishing results from HCL OneTest UI

You can run tests in the HCL OneTest UI desktop client and enable HCL OneTest UI to publish the test results to HCL OneTest Server. For more information, see Publishing test results to the server.
